Candide Thovex presents "Few Words" - The Art of Flight for Skiing

While the snowboarders have had their mass market success stories when it comes to film, most notably Travis Rice and his double success with both "That's it, That's All" and "the Art of Flight", the skiing community have had to wait until now for their big movie. Watching the trailer i could not help but draw similarities between Rice's works and this, but having said that, why not use a proven winning formula. That formula being amazing landscape and chopper shots, utilizing Phantom Camera shots throughout and of course a kick ass soundtrack. Quiksilver and Candide Thovex have found the formula and made it work. "Few Words" looks epic in scope and magnitude and I for one cannot wait to watch it.

Quiksilver Presents Candide Thovex's first feature-length film FEW WORDS. This long anticipated movie has finally become a reality for Candide Thovex , while we take a look back at his youth and early days skiing Candide shows you what it took to get to this point in his career, winning X-games gold's and breaking his back before winning the free-ride world tour. Now embarking on a mission spending 2 winters and summers filming and traveling over the world to get the best conditions possible Matt Pain and crew have captured Candide in his element and the stunning nature surrounding. Few Words will Premier in October in Paris with a world tour to follow in a city near you.

3 Minute Gaps - Dirt Bike air Mahem

I seem to be watching more and more mountain biking these days - helped by the fact that films like "Life Cycles" and "Seasons" are being so well made. So here is the trailer for the new kid on the block, 3 Minute Gaps...

"3 Minute Gaps," a thrilling documentary about incredible mountain bike riders aiming to be the best. "For two years the crew of 3 MINUTE GAPS have followed the world’s best mountain bike racers around the globe documenting them as they trained, prepared, rode, ate, traveled, raced, celebrated, commiserated, and made sacrifices simply because of the weight of ambition to be the fastest. There is no truer, more accurate and intimate depiction of the hallowed worlds of the very best World Cup rider's than 3 MINUTE GAPS." www.3minutegaps.com

Where the trail ends - A Freeride Movie

Ok, so watching the crazy antics of some guy riding a mullet event in Chile, inspired me to see what was out there movie wise for Freeriding. This is what I cam across through Red Bull.
So dam pretty! (Photo: Red Bull)
Freeride Entertainment, producers of the New World Disorder series, are pleased to announce the beginnings of a new project taking mountain biking back to the roots of freeriding.

Where the trail ends... is the start of a new feature film based on the natural terrain progression of riding in remote international locations. Freeride is excited about their new project which started deep in the Gobi desert in China earlier this year.

Featured riders from this first expedition were Darren Berrecloth, Kurt Sorge, and James Doerfling.
