Welcome to the Friday Mix where I give you the pick of the week's action sports video online. This week we look at "Life Behind Bars" the new movie on the way from Red Bull and Freeride Mountain Bike star, Brandon Semenuk. Then we head down to Rio, for Day 1 of the Billabong Pro surf event. Next up, the Road to Xfighters with Ronnie Renner and the gnarliest Dunes this side of the Mississippi. Last but not least, we join Jeremy Jones behind the scenes of his new snowboard film, "Further", as he takes back country snowboarding to the next level. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

The Art of Flight - Special Teaser Videos

To say I am excited about the imminent release of Travis Rice's new movie, The Art of Flight, would be like saying it would be nice to have my own Island in Sumatra. His previous film, Thats it Thats All, changed the face of Action Sports Cinema forever and Red Bull Media House and Brain Farm have apparently held nothing back in the Production of the Art of Flight.

Making a big budget Cinematic Snowboarding Movie is not easy though, just check out the "Special Features - Making a Snowboard Movie is Easy" short:

These guys are not messing around this time. They went looking for the biggest, scariest and previously unridden terrain for the movie. Check out this line, by John Jackson, from the "Special Features":

The movie is being released later this month and we have been promised that there will be Premiers in Cape Town and Jozi. So hold onto your panties people, the greatest Snowboard Movie of all time is on the way. You can help unlock more special features on the Facebook Page, just go HERE. Check out the "Metal" teaser:

The craziest snowboarding ever - Deeper

For years snowboarding has progressed primarily through the contest format disciplines such as Big Air and Halfpipe. But at its core, the reason it was developed as a sport, is the Deep Powder riding on Big Mountains. Jeremy Jones has always been at the forefront of this type of riding. Deeper, the movie, looks like it will take us on the wildest ride ever witnessed in snowboarding.

Jeremy Jones' Deeper Trailer - A Snowboard Film from Teton Gravity Research on Vimeo.

From the award winning producers at Teton Gravity Research (TGR) comes the most progressive big mountain snowboarding film to date, Deeper presented by O'Neill.
Follow Jeremy Jones and other top freeriders as they travel to the world's snowboarding meccas and venture past the boundaries of helicopters, snowmobiles, and lifts to explore untouched realms. Hang on tight as Jeremy faces the biggest challenges he has ever encountered in snowboarding. All night hikes, sleeping on peaks, camping 65 miles from civilization, 20 below temperatures, 10 day storms, and 20 mile days bring the adventure back into riding. Deeper puts the viewer in the athletes' boots, from the trials and tribulations to mind-boggling breakthroughs in the sport of snowboarding. "The Deeper crew put cameras in places and in conditions you could never imagine. It is the ultimate first-hand experience and the most insane riding I have ever seen." - TGR co-founder Steve Jones.
This film is 100% carbon neutral.
Athletes: Jeremy Jones, Travis Rice, Xavier De Le Rue, Josh Dirksen, Ryland Bell, Jonaven Moore, Forrest Shearer, Johan Olofsson, Lucas Debari, and Tom Burt
