Its Friday and that means peeps everywhere are stoked! So to make you even happier here are three videos from the world of action sports to amp you for your weekend.

First off is Greg Long, getting an early entry into the Billabong XXL awards with this massive tube at early season Jaws. The world was going crazy for Shane Dorian's wave, but then this one came along and blew it out of the water.

Red Bull Stratos was called off during the week due to wind conditions, but has been rescheduled for this Sunday, so watch this space.

The Rip Curl Pro in Portugal has had 2 lay days already, but may go live at 1pm today. Check out all the best surfers having a warm up session on Day 1.

The Friday Mix - New Bodyboard film, JOB charges Wedge & Unit Pool Party

Welcome to your Friday Mix, just the right blend of web videos to get you frothing for your weekend. We start off with the trailer for the new Bodyboarding film, The Pursuit of Excellence. It looks really well shot, with a cinematic feel and of course incredible riding. Following this is everyone's favorite tube king, Mr Jamie O'Brian, charging the infamous Wedge in California. Normally a wave left to the bodysurfers and bodyboarders, Jamie charges it on a big swell on the first day of spring. We finish off with a little bit of Pool Party fun with the team at Unit, as they send out a casting call for their next dirty pool party. (Great idea...)

Welcome to my Friday Mix, fresh from the hi speed bandwidth of the West coast of the USA. It has been a trip having such unfettered and fast internet access and I have been making the most of it. First up check out the trailer for Surfer Magazine's "Distant Shores" film, which will be free to download shortly. Then we have the highlights video from the Red Bull Erzberg Rodeo, the craziest enduro race on the planet. The Friday Mix - Cheerleader's Bikini Shoot, O"Neill Wake the Line, Intentio Trailer & Hall of Meat

It's your Friday Mix with the best bits and bobs of video from the web this week. First up you have the O'Neill Wake the Line from Germany, then it's the new surf film trailer, called Intentio, followed by a gnarly skate wipe with Thrasher Magazine's "Hall of Meat" and finally a little eye candy and the Miami Dolphin's Cheerleaders shooting their 2013 Bikini Calendar (Warning, the music on this one may drive you mad, but the visuals are great.)

 

 

 

The Friday Mix - XGames, Brian Deegan, Bodyboard and Surf

Welcome to the Friday Mix and this week has a slightly XGames heavy theme, as I am confirmed to attend the event for the first time. Talk about stoked! First up there is the official XGames 2012 teaser, followed by the first "Road to Xgames" with rally and bike hell man, Brian Deegan. After that you get to see the final days action from the IBA World Tour in Arica, Chile. I cannot believe Mike Stewart is still giving it horns in competition. The Friday Mix - IBA Arica Challenge, Red Bull Enduro, Bikini Surfers & 10 Biggest Jumps...

Welcome to this week's Friday Mix with me, Captain Kai. This week we start with the teasers for 2 live events in the IBA Bodyboard World Tour's Arica Challenge, from Chile, which starts today and you can watch the live webcasts on the IBA Website. Then you should definitely check out the world's toughest Enduro event, the Red Bull Hare Scramble, which you can watch live via the web on Red Bull's Website. Before we get there though, enjoy a tropical surf trip with the Rip Curl ladies, as they put their new bikinis to the test, with Alana Blanchard, Bethany Hamilton, Tyler Wright and Pauline Ado. We finish off with the "Top 10" jumps of all time - could be some debate over these - but a pretty inspiring video all the same! The Friday Mix - Jaws charger Kai Lenny, Aspire kiteboard, Wizard of Oz BMX & Craig Anderson Surf

Welcome to the Friday Mix, where I give you the finest selection of Action Sports videos on the web for the week. First up we have a 19 year old waterman from Hawaii, Kai Lenny. This kid inspires me no end as he surfs, tows, kites and windsurfs massive Jaws, all in one day. This is the premier of his new Web Show, Positively Kai. (Pretty cool he shares my name to.)

The Friday Mix with Captain Kai - Xgames, Dane Reynolds & Ultimate X

Welcome to the Friday Mix for this week and what a mix it is. First up the long awaited GOPro video from Ultimate X - we still waiting for the 3D edit - followed by Dane Reynold's highlights from the Quik Pro at Snapper. He did not make Round 4, but hells he did some amazing surfing before being knocked out. Lastly, the king of Superpipe, Shaun White, takes another XGames Gold in France at the European Winter XGames. Shaun posted an almost perfect 98 on his first run to take the victory!
