RVCA Artist Network Program - South African Launch
The RVCA Artist Network Program, commonly referred to as the ANP, is an ongoing program which aims to showcase the talent of accomplished as well as unknown artists who inspire our generation and push the boundaries of creativity; providing something of substance and culture.
RVCA's goal is to help produce, to distribute and to leverage the artists’ work and partnerships, and use the resulting synergies to ensure the broadest and most successful communication of the artist’s vision.
We are proud to announce and unveil the a collaboration between RVCA and the following ANP artists~
Senyol ~ Freddy Sam ~ Faith 47~ Daniel Ting Chong ~ Jaco Haasbroek ~ Dave Chaston ~ Jade Klara ~ Jean de Wet ~ Manuela Gray ~ Greg Darroll
All the ANP artists listed are among the most talented visual image-makers working today,
and their works will be seen throughout the year on limited edition RVCA t~prints, represented in seasonal ranges and many other creative installments.
Check out their profiles and follow their projects on www.rvcasa.com

To RVCA, an artist is not someone who just paints a picture, or writes a song, but someone who is dedicated to sharing with the world their life, emotions and soul through innovative and creative ideas. RVCA and the ANP were developed to shake the very foundations of the business, by giving back to the artists and providing a voice for their creative growth.
ANP Co ordinator Melissa Williams says "It's a great privilege to be able to replicate what RVCA have done with their ANP in the States, with local artists here in South Africa. All the artists deserve as much opportunity and promotion as possible and we are looking forward to working with them on various projects throughout the year, as well as showcasing their work through the limited-edition, artist-series RVCA lines, also launching this year."
WELCOME TO THE RVCA TEAM x
"RVCA will be celebrating the launch of the South African RVCA ANP, as well as the RVCA ANP Quarterly - Edited by Ed Templeton and Aaron Rose, with a screening of Beautiful Losers. Rolling with RVCA
My day started well yesterday, with the great news that I am teaming up with RVCA SA, under their Artist Network Program, or ANP. We did the Rolling Retro surf event with RVCA at the beginning of the year and it looks like next year could produce an even better event, and possibly more venues around SA. So worth watching this space. In the meantime I get to roll in one of the world's coolest brands and play with some of the coolest and brightest creative minds on the planet.
So with this new partner in crime, mayhem, and blissful artistic expression, I thought it best if you and I both learnt a little more about RVCA. The brand? The people? You get the drift. So I asked the magical web internet and was told the following -
RVCA is the brainchild of company Founder and Creative Director, PM Tenore. Transcending the boundaries of traditional action sports apparel, RVCA is a design-driven lifestyle brand free from passing trends. Appearing as a natural on the shelves of boutiques as on those of a local skate shop, RVCA is brought together by a group of likeminded individuals from various subcultures, a collaboration of sorts, a lifestyle within itself.
PM Tenore’s intention from the very beginning has been to create a platform for RVCA which combines art, music, fashion and a modern lifestyle in an original way. At the forefront of this vision has been RVCA’s Artist Network Program (ANP) – a venture established to showcase the talents of accomplished as well as unknown artists who inspire our generation and push the boundaries of creative excellence.
Established to promote the genuine integrity of RVCA’s subcultures while simultaneously giving back to the community, RVCA in essence is redefining the way the market views art and fashion as represented through the balance of opposites and how they coexist: water, oil; air, land; destruction, industrialization; art, science; foreign, domestic; order, anarchy; past, present.
For RVCA, it is about today, tomorrow and life as the big picture. It is about inspiring our generation, providing something of substance and culture and above all doing it with integrity and as a united family, a close knit community.
Over the next couple of weeks, I will start introducing some of my favorite riders, fighters and artists in the program. I cannot wait to shoot with some of the SA and international guys. In the meantime, here's a few vids from the Blogs.
