Parallels - Big mountain beauty over 7 Days

This short film is beautifully shot, well edited and has a cracka sound track. These guys are heading out into the wilderness and the parks to get the shots and it pays off big time!

Parallels is a short film produced by Dendrite Studios in April of 2011. This piece was shot for the Intersection competition at the Telus ski and board fest in Whistler, BC.
Created in its entirety in just 7 days, this piece explores parallel experiences of the moments created by playing in the mountains.

Heliski in India? "Special price laanie"

I was pretty gobsmacked when I saw this. Heliski and boarding are pretty much outside of our budget normally as South Africans, but the Indians might just save that. Snow in India, was my second major question,  but just check out the video and that query is answered.

Mental Ski Shinanigans - Red Bull Cold Rush Final Days

A lot of people went nuts earlier this week, when I posted the first day of the Red Bull Cold Rush 2011. All I can say is, wait till you see day 2 and 3!

Big mountain Slope Style!

For day 2 they built probably the biggest all mountain Slope Style course ever seen and followed that up with a day riding cliffs. I really hope that Red Bull or one of their competitors do something similar for Snowboarding! Enjoy the madness!

A couple of posts ago I was talking about how the free ski guys have really upped their game. It seems Red Bull agrees and they are once again doing the mental event that is the Cold Rush. Just take a look at the Day 1 video highlites and you will see what I mean! Mental!
